Model Selection

A beautiful and professional model is 50% of the success of a photo shoot. Regarding swimsuits and lingerie, the standards for the model’s body are particularly high. Unlike clothing, which covers most of the body, a model in a swimsuit is open to the eyes of the client. Model selection is the first stage of preparation for a brand photo shoot. This is a priority issue that we discuss with our clients. Over the years of successful work as photographers, we have our list of models we have worked with on various shoots and can recommend. The positioning of your brand, the design of the collection and the mood of the desired shots will help you choose the best model and get the perfect shots.

Mood Board

Every brand has its vision for pictures. For example, one wants a minimalistic image and geometry in the frame. This is the style we used to shoot the summer campaign for the SHEIN brand. Other clients want to see perfectly glowing skin, colorful or calm colors of swimsuits, naturalness and beautiful wild nature in the frame. All options are good and we have solutions and ideas for all of them.

Human Energy in the Frame

When shooting swimwear or underwear, the task is to frame the product in a way that makes the customer want to buy it. But it’s also important to remember that it’s not so much the clothes that sell, but the energy of the model wearing them. The days of neutral, faceless models – “hangers” – are long gone. Now customers want to see the personality and energy in the frame. That is why in our work we put emphasis on the product as well as on the mood, energy and emotions of the person in the frame. Self-confidence, beautiful body, sexy and stylish. Thanks to these energies, people pay attention to the photos in their feed. They will definitely want to buy that product. Because they want to be like the person in the picture, consciously or unconsciously.

Shooting of a summer campaign for the new swimwear collection of the SHEIN brand.

Task: Implementation of a turnkey project. Selection and rental of a location (stylish beach club with swimming pool). Team: selection of models, stylist, assistant, florist. Makeup and hair for models. Photo shoot and retouching.

Client’s vision: Bright, colorful images that convey the mood of summer, relaxation and a beach party by the pool. A combination of stylish fashion and lifestyle photography.

One day of shooting, 26 looks and two models.

MISS OUT OF OFFICE

Shooting of a summer campaign for the first swimwear collection of a young French brand.

Task: Implementation of a turnkey project. Choice of location (we considered beaches within 50 km of Lisbon). Team: selection of models, stylist, assistant. Makeup and hair for models. Photo session and retouching. Backstage video.

Client’s vision: very bright, juicy shots, radiant makeup and beautiful skin. Beautiful varied nature. The focus is on combining a neutral mood in the frame with stylish swimsuit designs.

One day of shooting, 16 looks and two models.

Lingerie DRI BHARGAVA

Shooting a capsule collection for a French lingerie brand.

Task: Choose a beach location. Select a model and stylist. Makeup and hairstyle for a model. Photo session and retouching. Video for Instagram and ads.

Client’s vision: to convey the delicacy and lightness of the fabric, and its airy texture. For this reason, a ballerina was chosen as the model. One of the images was published in PhotoVogue.
